Bubble

When you tell yourself that you’re not going to cry even when you can see how it’s going to end then the end happens and all you can say is “Fuck”. That’s exactly what happened to me as Bubble came to an end. A feel good movie about a boy named Hibiki who survived a disaster in Tokyo and now does parkour with a group called BlueBlazes. Tokyo is flooded and has bubbles that float around. The same bubbles that caused the disaster in the first place. Hibiki is saved by a girl that is formed out of bubbles. The bubble that starts it all sung to Hibiki the day of the disaster and saved him as a little kid. The girl would later be called Uta. The bond formed between the two gets Hibiki to open up, but that is short lived. In order to save everyone, Uta has to go back. This means turning back into bubbles. That scene is where I was like don’t cry. You see it coming and I just couldn’t help it. I immediately started tearing up. I loved the fact that everyone was concerned about her and that the last parkour scene Uta was with him in her bubble form. I don’t think that I can hear the singing now without getting emotional. It was a good movie. I just love the art. It always gets me. As you can see, I’m not that good at drawing, but it would be awesome to get to that level. One day I will make my own manga and then it will become an anime with art that good. This piece of art is currently on Netflix. Go watch and give me your opinion.
